Message I'm working on a friend's Z, doing a 60k and a clutch. Well today I finished up the 60k and dropped the tranny to find this...

loose piles of what I'm assuming is clutch disk material all in the bell housing. So I got back under and looked at the clutch and this is what I found (sorry bout the blurry camphone pics)...

Clutch disk fibers look like they are exploding out of the seams of the pressure plate. So WTF happened to the clutch disk? Was it a mis install or is this from misuse? Cuz goddam...

The alignment of the disk is way off too. This made pulling the tranny a complete bitch as the mainshaft got wedged between the disk and the pilot hole at an impossible angle.
